Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (15)

Student of Motoring History
Completed the first car collecting menu.

A new feature to Gran Turismo is the car collection menu, this is found by accessing GT Café mode from the main menu.

In here you can find different sets of challenges known as the car collection menu, this tasks you with 3 cars to collect and complete that set car collection menu.

With that done you’re given a reward and more importantly your Trophy will also unlock.

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (17)

Moving on Up
Moved up five or more positions in a single lap.

This requires at least 5 drivers to be in front of you and can easily be done at the start of career mode as in some of the earlier events the AI will be slow so you will get this naturally.

You could also when you have a much more powerful car re enter an early career mode event and race against the same slow cars you did at the start.

This is another Trophy you will unlock through natural progression.

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (18)

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (19)

Clean Racer
Completed a race without leaving the track or any collisions.

This can be done at any time and in any race but is probably best done early on in career mode, start any race and drive around the circuit being mindful to not touch the grass and keep away from the AI.

Speed is not the objective here so go as slow as is needed and complete each lap of the race having a leisurely drive then once you cross the finish line having not left the track or had any collisions your Trophy will then unlock.

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (21)

By a Whisker
Won a race with a lead of 0.5 seconds or less.

This can happen during any race like a online sport mode race where 1st and 2nd place finishes will be very close or in any career mode race.

The best way to get this is to get into the lead of any race then on the last lap let the pack catch back up to you, now get your car in the way of second place and let them run up hitting you and push you over the finish line.

This results in the smallest possible margin of victory and will unlock your Trophy once successful.

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (22)

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (23)

By a Country Mile
Won with a lead of 10 seconds or more, in a race of at least two laps.

Another trophy that can happen naturally but also can be done quite easily.

As you play through career mode you will unlock cars through winning races or race series or completing a car collection menu.

These rewards can gift you with a much more powerful car than what you will encounter at the start of your career.

So enter an early career race like the Sunday cup where you will easily be able to get more than 10 seconds ahead of the competition over a 2 lap race where your Trophy will unlock once you meet the requirements.

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (24)

Gran Turismo 7 Trophy Guide - Griffins Gaming Guides (25)

No Assistance Required!
Completed a race without any assist settings.

In a race menu you have the ability to alter the setup of the car and this includes assists like traction control, stability manager, anti lock brakes and even automatic transmission.

Turn all these to off or to zero and then enter the race, once you cross the finish line with all these assists turned off your Trophy will then unlock.

Circuit Master
Completed 15 tracks (all sectors) in Circuit Experience.

In circuit experiences you will have to complete individual sectors of a race circuit in the game before finally completing a 1 lap time trial, getting all these to good rating is deemed mastering a circuit.

This teaches you all the ins and outs like racing lines and clipping the ideal apex point to maximise your speed and braking points for each of the circuits.

As each circuit in the game has a different length it also has a different number of sectors to master so aim at completing as many of the shorter ones as you can.

Once you do have 15 at gold level your Trophy will then unlock.

License tests have long been a integral part of Gran Turismo game and welcome a welcome return to GT7 after an absence in GT Sport.

Each test has a fixed location and tasks for you to perform in a fixed car, you need to get gold in all tests.

Starting off with the national B license you need to work your way up to the Super license, this is probably one of the last trophies you will get in GT7 so drive each test and use your good times to learn where you can brake later into a corner or accelerate faster out of a corner.

With every test at gold rating your Trophy will then unlock.
